Kaapmuiden

Kaapmuiden, meaning ‘Cape Mouth’ is a small farming town located in the Kruger Lowveld region of Mpumalanga, South Africa.

Geography and History

Farms in the region produce sugarcane, subtropical fruit and vegetables.

Activities

There are plenty of activities to do in and around Kaapmuiden including hiking trails, bike routes, nearby golf courses, game drives and fishing.

Most of the fishing can be done in the nearby rivers. When it comes to game viewing, a number of farms have combined to form an eco reserve in the area in which a range of game such as Rhino, Kudu and Buffalo roam freely. In addition to this, the Kruger National Park is only 25km away.
